When I thought about this trip, I didn,t think about sponsorship or anything of that sort. I had a Pulsar 180 of my own and I was confident that my bike would be capable of doing such a trip, Come to think of it, I am pretty glad that I did it on a small bike, because in Colombia, not many people can afford a big bike, As I see it, I think I set an example because it has proven that one can certainly do something like this on a smaller motorcycle like a Pulsar.

I can't choose just one. I have two separate lists - one is the list from the heart which includes the bikes I love and the second is the list from the head which are the bikes that are practical to use. My 'heart' list consists mainly of Ducatis - I love the Desmos. The sound and the look, they're so nasty! Yeah, some of the bikes on these lists also include Japanese bikes (laughs). Of the older motorcycles, I'd love an old MV Agusta but they are too expensive for me any way

Actually, there are no mechanical modifications to the bike itself. The engine is stock and so is the suspension. I have only fitted protective shields for the headlamps and a rack for the panniers Otherwise, it's the same bike as the other Pulsars that roll out of the bajaj FACTORY there were no breakdowns, just a small electric fault when I was in Turkey. It was due to normal wear and tear and nothing serious, really. bajaj dent me the part from India and I was back an the road in no time.

e wonder what sort of stuff this Colombian is made of. Thirty-four year old Daniel Valencia got himself a bajaj Pulsar 180 and he rode 55,000-odd km across 23 countries to come to India. Seriously
